- Asked me how to spell 'bread' and 'cheese' and wrote them down on a peice of paper
- Drew up plans to build himself an art set, including drawers and containers to hold his crayons
- Continued his ongoing project of building a wall out of spare pavers
- Asked me to play a board game with him
- Played with local kids at the park. He approached them and said 'Hi, My name is D, I'm 4 years old and I like spiderman'
- Read about 15 books - mostly on his own but he occasionally asks me to read a word for him

I love that kind of learning. So natural, spontaneous, and significant.... Plus there is a real joy, and effortlessness about it all. Thanks for sharing.
